Beverly Hills Low-Density Housing

This project calls for the design of a low-rise housing complex comprised of three residential units in Beverly Hills, CA. The concept focuses upon the realization that people in Los Angeles are spending ample time in a car and that their peripheral surroundings are taken for granted. To approach this notion, the project creates a large open facade to form a physical and visual connection to the adjacent streets. A 45 foot lap pool that separates each unit serves this conceptual idea by engaging in a conversation between the domestic dwelling space within the home, and the mobile dwelling space inside of a car.
